This is an automatism. We come home at night after a long day at the office; we put on our fancy pyjamas and... we throw our clothes in the laundry basket. Yet, our "outer" garments are rarely soiled to the point of requiring washing after every single wear! This is especially true for sleeveless dresses. So, let's try something the planet will thank us for!: next time you wear one of our cheeky dresses, before throwing it automatically in the wash-machine, check first if it really needs it. Sometimes you just have to air it out and let it breathe.

Good news! Your cheeky Carlos-Carlos Paris' dresses can go to the wash-machine. But, to maximize their longevity and out of respect for the planet, make sure to favor a delicate washing cycle, at 20°-30°C max. This is more than enough to eliminate bacteria while preserving the luxurious fabrics of your dresses. Additional pieace of advice? Always protect your dresses in a laundry bag before throwing them into the wash-machine.

(Very) bad for your clothes, (very) bad for the planet and (very) bad for your wallet... in short: do not use the tumble dryer. Ever. Between you and I, you should even consider selling it on eBay. For your dear cheeky dresses, opt for natural drying.

Crumpled dress? No problemo! As long as you use the delicate /wool /silk mode, you can iron or steam your dresses. Not sure about your equipment? Make a test on a small piece of the fabric on the inside part of the dress before tackling the serious stuff or, even better !, put a towel between the iron and the dress. BTW, this last option should alway be favored for dresses with silk.

The paint used for our “art-to-wear” pieces is designed specifically for clothing and perfectly washable, provided to be just a little careful! Your painted garment should be washed inside out on a short cycle, at low temperature. Let it air dry and always use a clean cloth between the iron and the garment for the iron must not be in direct contact with the painted patterns. Dry cleaning is prohibited.
